Scots with long memories will gather on Saturday to walk to a Pictou County cairn. The Culloden Memorial Cairn was erected by the descendants of the highland Scots who fled to northern Nova Scotia after Scottish rebels were defeated near Culloden Moor 268 years ago. The march with bagpipers will begin at 10:45 a.m. on the side of Highway 245 in Knoydart, Pictou County, and proceed to the cairn where a service will be held.
