Imagine Antigonish Banners at the R. K. MacDonald Guest House November 2014

The Imagine Antigonish Banners — all 14 of them — will be displayed in the chapel at the R. K. MacDonald Guest House for the month of November, 2014.   November is Global Arts for Health Month, so how appropriate.    Many residents and visitors attended the opening on November 3.  John Graham-Pole and Dorothy Lander introduced the installation, and found out the places in Antigonish that held interest for the residents, staff, and visitors.  Mary Ellen Tremble lived on Church Street.  Robert Gerroir comes from  Tracadie.  Mary MacGillivray taught school in Springfield.  Christine MacDonald lived in Loch Katrine.   Kim MacDonald lives not far from Jimtown.

Mary MacGillivray, former art teacher at the Antigonish Regional, took note that Anne Louise MacDonald had done many of the restorations on the photographs, and was very proud to tell us that she taught art to Anne Louise MacDonald.
